1958 Chevrolet

The newly designed 1958 Chevrolets presented a softer, more luxurous ride than its predecessors. Longer, lower, wider and heavier, the 1958 Chevrolets were more sculpted, and the fins were now gone. Quad headlights were introduced and dual "jet intake" parking lights were mounted at each side of the mesh grille. Though longer and heavier, the 1958's proved to be just as fast as the '57s, with the introduction of a modified truck engine, the 348 big block V8.
