1953 Cadillac

Massive bumper and bumper guards integrated into the grille were features of the 1953 Cadillac. The parking lights were moved to just beneath the headlights. Air conditioning was added. Because of a fire at the Livonia, Michigan transmission plant, 19,000 Cadillacs were produced with Buick Dynaflow transmissions. Wrap-around windshield was featured on the El Dorado models.
