CLASSIC CAR OWNERS GUIDE
1950 Buick

1950 BuickThe oversized "toothy" grille was the predominate design feature of the 1950 Buicks. The grille completely filled the grille opening and spilled out over the bumper, giving the car a "buck tooth" look. Nine large "teeth" were lined up between large round bumper guards. Buick went to a one-piece windshield in 1950. The Roadmaster side trim consisted of a spear beginning above the front wheel cutout, sweeping down to a panel in front of the rear wheel, and continuing around the rear wheel well and ending just short of the rear bumper. Other models side trim consisted of a straight spear beginning just behind the front wheel and continuing just short of the back bumper.
