In 1948 Buick stayed with the same design as the 1948s...most design efforts were being directed to the first totally new post-War design for model year 1949. The 1948 Buick had a little lower stance due to smaller wheels and tires. The all-new fully-automatic Dynaflow transmission was introduced as a $244 option to Roadmaster buyers.
